FINALLY, BLUEBONNETS!

Funny enough, after our 6 hour road trip around the Hill Country, we found the best Bluebonnet patch right here in Austin.

WILDFLOWER EXCURSION

After church last Sunday, we embarked on a journey in search of wildflowers, specifically Bluebonnets. Our travels took us to Marble Falls (where we found a good hole in the wall BBQ joint), up to Burnet, down to Johnson City, and over to Fredericksburg before heading back to Austin. It was a fun spur of the moment road trip.

HEROES DAY AT CAMP MABRY

We had a great time at Camp Mabry. Kaden ran through a fireman's obstacle course, even getting to take over the hose. (I'm sure the fireman was cussing thinking about having to wash the truck back at the station.) The kids had a great time climbing through all of the helicopters and watching a few take off.

EASTER EGG HUNT

The kids had a great time at hunting for eggs at the Milonovich house. We were much more adept this year- it only lasted a few minutes. Oh, the sugar and highs and lows the rest of the day!!

EGG DYEING

SOCCER

Kaden & Zachary are playing on the same team this year - the Dewdrops (pretty fierce, huh?)

Another Good Friday adventure...

In typical Good Friday fashion we embarked on another adventure. (If you haven't already heard of last year's expedition to the Capital of Texas Zoo in Bastrop - ask - it's pretty entertaining.) This time we ventured off to San Marcos for Wonder World. Although quite the tourist trap, everyone had a great time spelunking through the cavern, playing in the anti-gravity house and riding a train through the petting zoo.
Easter Egg Hunt in the Neighborhood

Baby Meyer (but not so baby anymore!) and Reece joined us for a hunt at the neighborhood park. We've begun to perfect our egg collecting skills.

Kennedy and her best buddy, Reece. These two are inseparable and have already had a few sleepovers at 3!

SCIENCE FAIR

Kaden's experiment was the Steady Hand Game - he learned about electricity and completing circuits. Zachary also had an electricity experiment called Charm a Snake. The class performed a program as well. It was very entertaining and everyone learned a lot.
