TALENT SHOW ON THE CRUISE

Watch out American Idol - the ABC's are making a comeback!

AN EXTRA DAY IN SEATTLE

Hiking at Deception Falls and some other random area (misinformation from the GPS). The hike was well needed - our bodies are still recovering from eating every 2 hours!

LAST PORT - VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA

It was a short stop in the evening, but we made the most of it. The kids had their first limo ride and we took a quick tour around the city. Definitely a city we'd like to go back to and spend some time.

SALMON FISHING IN KETCHIKAN

Last stop in Alaska - Ketchikan for a little fishing. We were quite successful and everyone had a great time. We caught nine fish between all of us. More than 50 lbs will arrive tomorrow! Salmon bake anyone?

FUN ON THE SHIP

JUNEAU

We went on a whale watching excursion in the capitol. We saw lots of humpback whales, bald eagles, sea otters and these noisy sea lions. Kaden took some great (?) shots if anyone is ever interested in checking out his novice photography skills.

THE HUBBARD GLACIER

This was one of the most incredible days. Unfortunately these pictures do not do the glacier justice. That wall is more than 350 feet tall. It was awesome everytime a hunk would calve, sending a huge wave out. They collected a small berg (a lot had melted by the time we made it up to the deck for our photo op). In typical fashion, Kennedy had to taste it!

FUN FACTORY

The kids had a great time. They almost couldn't get enough of it from sunrise to the wee hours of the morning. It had a ton of great activities, from a talent show, to pizza parties, to scavenger hunts, and the biggest hit - a ball pit!

FORMAL NIGHT

We all clean up pretty well. And notice - no kids. More about the Fun Factory later.

2ND DAY AT SEA

Kennedy had the fortune of celebrating her 3rd birthday. Here are pics from some of the festivities.

CRUSING ALASKA WITH THE KENNEDY CLAN

19 of our family boarded the ship in Seattle for a weeklong tour of the inside passage of Alaska.

Fun at the muster drill. Kaden and Kennedy are still wearing their bracelets - I guess a rite of passage. The 4 kids were the stars that day; or maybe all of the stares were accompanied by thoughts like "Why are they bringing children on this cruise?" :)

OUT HORSING AROUND...

We visited an old friend of Mom's - Emily and her horse Tex. He's a big baby and we had a great time spoiling him with carrots and giving him a bath.
Jeff and Kim get away!

Jeff in front of McGill University in Montreal. His grandfather attended a few years ago. :)

The Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

We had a great time visiting Vermont and Montreal sans kids. Thanks Grannie and Papa for stepping in!

KENNEDY FAMILY REUNION IN KANSAS

Grannie and Aunt Bev take the kids four-wheel sledding

Typical boys on the tractors. Uncle Jim needs to put them to work next summer.

Dad, Aunt "Ancy" and Kennedy taking a ride around the arena. Don't assume all boys from Wyoming are cowboys - ask Jeff.

Zachary couldn't get enough of the tractors.

Long time no blogging (only 4 months to catch up on!) Just a couple of random fun shots...
